UTILITY ANCHORED EV CHARGING PROGRAMS
Utilities can take the lead for providing reliable EV charging services for all customer segments
IEMF along with BSES Rajdhani (BRPL), Delhi's largest electricity utility conducted a consumer survey in Delhi to understand consumer perception and needs w.r.t. EVs and EV charging. The results of survey indicate that utilities can provide valuable support to customers by setting up EV charging facilities, creating awareness and facilitating regulatory permissions.
Based on these results we have outlined business models for utility anchored EV charging programs that meet the needs of different segments of EV users.
